Women formerly incarcerated with no place to go is creating a housing crises.
Formerly incarcerated women face multiple obstacles to securing housing ( including public assistance) employment, losing their apartment due to incarceration, and also their children, financially broke when being released from jail or prison which can lead to homelessness.
